It was Sunday 28th August 2022, the drizzles of the morning had left the weather cold and calm but with so much expectation of the day; the “Vatican” of the UD-OLGC (The Qodesh) was electrified in restless anticipation of the arrival of our Father, Evangelist and Presiding Bishop, Dag Heward-Mills for the Global Healing Jesus Service. Even though it had been announced that he would be there live, the news was met with some skepticism. The praise and worship was lit with people jumping and shouting with excitement.
Alas! Without pump and pageantry, a loud scream and there he appeared! There is definitely no place like home! The atmosphere at the Jesus Cathedral was teeming with the nostalgia of ‘reuniting with a long lost beloved’ as aptly described by our beloved Bishop Nii Adjeidu Armar – Convener of the Qodesh Family Church (QFC) Ghana Denomination.
It was captivating to sit at the feet of our Prophet as he preached on the altruistic biblical principle of ‘OTHERS’- a message that has spurred on the proliferation of the Gospel through the Healing Jesus Campaign for 18 years and the building of thousands of mega churches all over the world. In fact, at this wonderful service, our Prophet introduced a new church he had started that very morning called the FLOW church!
After such an amazing time in the presence of God, the evangelist poured out his heart and shared his vision with his beloved pastors. Our father really loves his children and we are definitely responding to such a wonderful type of love. We really really love you Daddy!!! We thank God for giving us such a wonderful shepherd. We at the Qodesh are also very glad that you played your Nigerian card!
As we look forward to having our father at the Qodesh soon, we will wait and see if our children (First Love Centre) will think about others (their parents).
