The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference, has dedicated its ultra-modern offices in Teshie, at No. 1 Lekma Road, off Tema Beach Road. The building, named “The Makarios Tower” was officially opened by the Founder & Chairman of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. He was assisted by leading Ministers of Christian Churches in Ghana. The 4-storey building has offices, Executive Conference facilities, 2 Chapels and a Bookshop with a multi-media Gallery.

The event was graced by many of the leading Clergy in the country. They included the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. Paul Kwabena Boafo, Rt. Rev. Dr. Nana Anyani-Boadu of the Jesus Generation Church, Archbishop (elect) Salifu Amoako of the Alive Chapel International, Rev. Ampiah-Kwofie, Apostle-General Sam Korankye-Ankrah of Royalhouse Chapel International, Rev. Steve Mensah of Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Bishop Gordon Kisseih of Life International Church, Bishop S. N. Mensah of Full Gospel Church International, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi of Victory Bible Church, Prophet Louis Macaiah of Christ Vision Sanctuary International, Prophet Alex Owusu, Rev. Hislord Amaah, Rev. Torkonoo, Rev. Andrew Pappoe and Rev. Dr. Jonathan Ekuban, all members of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference, were actively in attendance.

In his remarks at the event, the Founder & Chairman of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference stated:

“That the Church of God will be built, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). This building is to further God’s work in Ghana. I believe in the church being united and being together, and for that we need to remember that we all come from one source as Christians in Ghana, through our Fathers, the Presbyterians and the Catholics who brought Christianity to Ghanaian shores. Together, the Orthodox, Pentecostals, Charismatics, and the Prophets have a role to play in the growth of the church, and its contribution to Ghana’s advancement”.

The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church, who cut the ribbon for the Makarios Towers’ opening said:

” I am very delighted to be here among all of us. I want to say one thing, that we all as leaders should encourage our members to ensure they participate in the upcoming census in the country. It is important that we all make sure we get counted.”

The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is a body of eminent Clergy – Bishops, Prophets, Reverend Ministers, Denominations of Churches and individual churches. Indeed, the GCBC represents millions of Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora.

As a body of the Clergy, the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference sees the needs of ordinary people across the nation and feels that it is our duty to present our observations to the Government. These needs, as you will see, are those of ordinary people living in Ghana under the conditions created by successive governments.

We believe that by heeding the prophetic words from the Conference, Ghana will become a leading nation of the world, and achieve its potential of being the Star of Africa and the world. We have issued communiques over the past few years, and history will bear record that our proposals and prophetic words and concerns have come to pass exactly as we said.

I am happy to be part of UD.
It is a Blessing to have a selfless Leader and a Loving Father like Bishop Dag.

May God Protect Bishop Dag and his Family.
May he be preserved for Generations to come until the Coming of Our Lord Jesus in Jesus Name.
