In tandem with all other Denominations, the Machaneh Church International (MCI) embarked on four weeks of prayer, outreach and fasting dubbed ‘Operation Don’t Think About It’ (ODTAI).

The four weeks saw members of MCI getting deeply involved in dawn and evening prayer meetings, fasting and massive person-to-person outreaches. ODTAI provided a refreshing variation to the usual format of fasting and prayer to begin the year. To spice it further, MCI chose to have Swollen Sunday services across the entire denomination at the end of the four weeks.

On the 12th of February, Swollen Sunday services took place in the Cathedrals and Branch Churches across the denomination from Oyibi to Adenta to Koforidua. At the Living Bread Cathedral in Oyibi, Shepherds and Pastors after two weeks of work, gathered 7,000 people to their Swollen Sunday service with over 1,500 people giving their lives to Jesus Christ.

The Swollen Sunday services were dubbed ‘COME’. It has been a beautiful start to the year in the MCI denomination.
