Wednesday the 13th of April 2022 will go down as a memorable one for the Ogoe, Sawyerr and Allied families, and indeed the entire UD family. On this day, Stephen Harry Sawyerr and Kimberley Edwina Ogoe were engaged in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony held in the home of Bishop Edwin Morgan and Lady Reverend Mrs. Bridgette-Marian Ogoe, the proud parents-of-the-bride. In attendance was Presiding Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and First Lady, Episcopal Sister Adelaide Heward Mills, several Bishops, First Love Mothers, Reverends, Pastors and Lady Pastors.
Clad in a splendid velvety olive green traditional outfit, the elated bride was given in marriage to the expectant young groom, who donned a regal cream long-sleeve traditional outfit, amid songs, laughter and warm well wishes.
28 years earlier, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills had officiated the wedding of Kimberley’s parents, Bishop Edwin Morgan Ogoe and LR Bridgette-Marian Ogoe in London, England.
What a great blessing and privilege it was for them to also have him pray over their daughter’s engagement ring and bless the marriage during the engagement ceremony.
