With anxious and calculated steps they walked to the tune of “I’m The One You’re Looking For”, into the grand auditorium in a beautiful file. Clad in white, their very lives about to change forever!

The august Consecration Ceremony of 4 new Bishops and 9 Episcopal Sisters (ES) of the UD-OLGC took place at the Great Hall of the prestigious Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training Center (ABMTC), Mampong Akwapim on Tuesday August 30th 2022.

Mixed emotions of joy, gratitude and sober reflection from all gathered added a special touch to the deeply spiritual ceremony.

Amidst cheers and applause each candidate’s profile was read. From varied backgrounds, they have all converged in the vineyard of the Lord.

The Founder and Presiding Bishop of this world-class ministry, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills (also dressed in his resplendent Bishopric regalia) offered heart-felt, life transforming prayers for each candidate after their consecration vows were said. They were adorned with their new vestments (each a special spiritual symbol) and presented to the congregation.

The heart-stirring message preached by the Prophet took the atmosphere up a notch and the terse but moving speeches laced with tones of gratitude from the new Bishops was the topping on the cake!

Congratulations to:
Bishop McIvin Mafora
Bishop George Antwi
Bishop Stephen Poku
Bishop Immanuel Obeng
ES Lilian Hasia Commey
ES Elaine Abelah Klufio
ES Akwele Ivanna Kiruja
ES Olivia Adalena Sam
ES Linda Abana Aryee
ES Bridgette-Marian Emunah Ogoe
