“WHY IS THIS CHURCH NOT GROWING?” CAMP.

It was the turn of Loyalty House International Denomination to sit under the ministration of the Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills in a 3-day power packed camp meeting held at the ANAGKAZO campus, Mampong from 19th-21st April 2023.

The theme of the camp, initially aroused some curiosity was dubbed “WHY IS THIS CHURCH NOT GROWING?”. We were all ears, ready to listen to what our anointed teacher had to say about this thought-provoking theme. It was such a powerful encounter as we listened to our Prophet and Teacher expound to us from the scriptures the reasons why “THIS CHURCH” is not growing. We were all kept in awe by the depth of the revelations coming through this great teacher of the word, and without a doubt, every single participant had an answer to this great and astounding question.

The Congress Hall was almost filled to capacity, and the atmosphere was electrified with worship, prayer, and especially screams of excitement about the Word as is usual with our Prophet during his teaching sessions.

The opening scripture was from Luke 2:42-46. In verse 46, “And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions),” we were made to understand that ASKING QUESTIONS IS A DOOR INTO REVELATIONS… So asking why? Will surely lead us into the revelations of what we need to do.

Prophet also taught us about the MISSING KEY; The key of KNOWLEDGE (Luke 2:52). Fortunately, knowledge is available to us all, because we have been blessed with so many books and other materials in the house that when we read and meditate on them, we shall reap the fruits of growth. We lack this knowledge because WE DO NOT MEDITATE ON THE BOOKS. Mercy!!

Most importantly we were taught to also love the Church because it represents God’s Bride. He expounded on the fact that we must all be involved in building the Church and must have a strong desire to see the Church grow. The Church here represents both the physical building and the members. He used Ephesians 4:16 to support the fact that each and every one of us, not only Pastors, plays a role in church growth.

“from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:16 KJV

“Change the version” brought more meaning and a better understanding of the scripture.

These and other powerful revelations that we heard made us all come to a conclusion that we can become better Pastors, Shepherds and members and our churches can grow. This camp is no doubt a MUST LISTEN again and again…

We also had a life changing experience when every camper participated in the Flow Prayer meeting on Friday morning with the Prophet. The epic moment was when the Prophet walked into the camp right from the studios of the Flow Prayer to continue with his declarations of blessings over us. Wow!!

It was such a memorable experience, and we are confident that these 3 days has left an indelible mark in our spiritual walk with God.
