As part of the Remembrance season, pastoral appointments and ordination services were held across various denominations in the UD, reflecting the church’s ongoing mission and commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission.
The DHMM under the leadership of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, has a presence in 94 countries and over 6000 ministers in various ranks. This has been achieved by the help of God and the culture of ardent formal and informal training in the church.
Over the years many young men and women have discovered the call of God on their lives through the teachings of Bishop Dag on the call of God through preaching on Sunday and Weekday services, camps, conferences, books and songs.
On Sunday, 25th May 2025, a significant milestone was reached in the UD: 387 young men and women—each with over four years of commitment to Christ and the church and having successfully completed intensive training and interviews—were elevated to the next level of their calling and leadership. On the same day, 2,336 teenagers took their first steps into the ministry of Jesus Christ.
















The occasion also saw the joyful graduation of 2336 young members, aged 17 to 19, in the youth church into the main church, symbolising their growth and readiness for the work of God.
