The Way Cathedral launches Fresh Fire Service.

After weeks of heightened anticipation and preparation, the maiden Youth Service at
Ayawaso, The Way Cathedral of The Lighthouse International Denomination, took place on Saturday, 3rd July 2021.

Many young people are disillusioned and looking for a place where they can be taught as young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord and prepare them to serve Christ in all they do: cue, the Youth Service! The Fresh Fire Service, which is to take place every Saturday from 4pm, will serve as a haven for young people to fellowship, grow spiritually, worship and serve God with unblemished fervor.

Commissioned as the Fresh Fire Service, Bishop Steve Asare launched the Youth Service
as a service tailor-made for young people and the young at heart, especially Senior High School (SHS), Junior High School (JHS) and Tertiary students.

Bishop Steve Asare, a Pastor with the heart for young people, preached powerfully
from Our Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ book, Many Are Called.
He encouraged the teeming youth that, they all have the Call of God upon their lives, and that, the Call of God simply meant, to serve God and do something for God in the church. He further taught that, for many people, the Call of God is rarely spectacular
but rather ordinary, stemming from a desire in the heart.

Bishop Steve then prayed for and released mighty prophetic declarations on the young
people present. The pastors and leaders of the Fresh Fire Service were then introduced.
What a mighty blessing the Fresh Fire Service will be in growing the body of Christ by
focusing on the youth!
