THE TRUTH CATHEDRAL DEDICATED TO THE GLORY OF GOD

The last day of the Maintenance of the Aim Conference hosted by the Loyalty House International was crowned with the dedication of The Truth Cathedral by the Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. It was all excitement and fun as both young and old danced and sang praises to the Lord.

After an awesome ministration by the 250-member Mass Choir, the Resident Bishop and Convener of the Loyalty House International Denomination, Bishop Ishmael Sam gave a brief history of how far the Lord had brought the church.

He recounted how Bishop Dag sent him from the Light of the World Cathedral at Korle Gonno to Tema to start a branch. Though it was a tough decision to “leave his father” and move to a new place, he obeyed. He emphasized how soaking in messages of his father the Prophet and sharing them with his small congregation in Tema resulted in massive church growth, moving the church from a small bar to the Cornerstone Cathedral.

After building the beautiful Cornerstone Cathedral, which became a tourist attraction for visitors, to Bishop Sam, it was mission accomplished. However, at the dedication of the Cathedral Prophet preached a message titled “No Work Done, Get to the Job”; a message that ministered to him that more had to be done for the Lord. It therefore came as no surprise when Bishop Dag Heward-Mills encouraged him a few years later to start a new branch. It sounded like an impossible task but after the Prophet prayed for him, he knew within himself that God was going to make it possible and He surely did to His Glory.

A short documentary about how the beautiful and ultra modern edifice of The Truth Cathedral was built was shown to the entire congregation. Viewers were thrilled to see the various phases of the building process from bare land till it was finally completed.

The plaque for the dedication of the Cathedral was unveiled by the Prophet, Bishop Dag accompanied by Episcopal Sister Adelaide Heward-Mills and the Executive Council of the UD-OLGC. Prophet prayed powerfully and declared The Truth Cathedral officially “open for business”, which is the business of establishing souls for the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!!!

The Prophet also prayed powerfully for Bishop Sam, anointing him to assume new levels in his ministry and to do more for the Lord. It was such a solemn moment to witness a Father pronounce such powerful prophetic blessings over his Son.

ES Adelaide Heward-Mills rejoiced with Bishop Sam and the Loyalty House International over what God had done. She recalled how sad she felt when Bishop Sam and other Pastors at the time were sent out to start branches because she loved the church family that they had become. She indicated that little did she know that through that God was giving her the opportunity to have several other families all over the world, as the UD-OLGC has become. She saluted Bishop Dag for his strength, fortitude, focus and for being our Commander-in-Chief with God Himself as our banner. She prayed that God would give us the Grace to obey.

The dancing stars then wowed the congregation with their spectacular ministration through beautiful dancing skills, to mark the end of the dedication of The Truth Cathedral.
