Thousands of members of the DHMM family gathered in Mampong, Ghana, at the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training School (ABMTC) for the highly anticipated ‘Homecoming Convention’ with our founder, father and pastor Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.

The opening night was filled with the presence of God and celebration as the Dancing Stars, the Global Mass Choir (featuring singers from various countries) and the Living Waters Choir from Love First Church at the Qodesh graced the stage. Following this, the Living Waters Singers launched the “Rose of Sharon Album”, which has now gone viral within the DHMM family (see homepage for a link to the album).

The spirit of joy flooded the Jesus Saviour of the World Square as thousands waited patiently to hear the convention’s theme.

There was even another dance ministration that beautifully displayed the many nations where the church has been established. Truly, the church has worked and overworked!

All the churches in the DHMM family were beautifully represented in an expression of love and unity. The different nations, tribes and tongues gathered at Mampong, unified under the banner of love. It was beautiful and heart-warming to see how so many people, all so different in culture and background, stood together as one under the leadership of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.

This year’s convention was themed, “The Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley”. Preaching from Song of Songs Chapter 2, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills shared a powerful message on the qualities of a bride, drawing lessons on the virtues every Christian should possess as the bride of Christ. As the bride of Christ, we learned that we stand as a lily against the backdrop of a world of thorns. As such, a bride must not be a painful experience. We must not bring pain to Jesus. We must bring Him joy and satisfaction. Our love should match the love He has shown us. Jesus, our loving bridegroom, longs to see our face and to hear us speak to Him. (Song of Songs 2:14)
Bishop Dag showed the many practical applications of this message. Not only was the bride of Christ educated on her response to love, but marriages were restored simultaneously as brides, new and old, were taught how to respond well to love, according to Scripture.
On the third day of the Homecoming Convention, denominations were invited to Kuriake Castle to meet with Bishop Dag. The atmosphere was one brimming with the love and sincere care of a father as Bishop Dag tirelessly sought to met members from across the churches.

Truly, we are all connected by the love of God! You should be at Homecoming 2026 at all cost.
