Under the auspices of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills through the Convener of Lighthouse Chapel International Denomination, Bishop Steve Asare, The Way Cathedral was blessed to receive the Ministry of Bishop Kweku Amponsah for the Thoroughly Furnished Good Works Conference 2021.
The 2-Day power-packed Conference, which took place on Saturday, 21st and Sunday 22nd August, saw the gathering of many Pastors, Shepherds and Church Workers from the Ayawaso and Nsawam Councils of the LCI.
Bishop Kweku Amponsah started off by reminding all gathered that, the United Denominations and the Body of Christ as a whole, are blessed to have one of God’s living Generals in the person of the Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
He said it will be a difficult task to find any Christian, yet alone, a Pastor anywhere in the world, who has set up many churches, with buildings, in over 90 countries and counting, who has written several best-selling books published in many languages, who leads the winning of millions of souls through the Healing Jesus Campaign, among many other mighty works. He exhorted that such a man must be appreciated and honored greatly.
Preaching from one of Prophet’s best-selling books, Loyalty and Disloyalty, Bishop Kweku taught on Lessons of Loyalty.
Defining Loyalty simply as being faithful and constant, Bishop Kweku revealed that, many of the Men of God we see and adore in the Bible, whom God used powerfully, had loyalty and faithfulness as a major cornerstone.
He revealed that Moses had the opportunity to speak directly, face to face, with God because of his faithfulness. In Numbers 12:6-8, concerning Moses, God said, “Listen to my words: When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is NOT TRUE of my servant Moses; he is FAITHFUL in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”.
He further revealed that Daniel, who was delivered from the lions’ den, was also known to be faithful. “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was FAITHFUL, neither was there any error or fault found in him”. Daniel 6:4
From Hebrews 1:1-2, Bishop Kweku showed that our Savior Jesus Christ is also known to be faithful. “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was FAITHFUL to him that appointed him, as also Moses was FAITHFUL in all his house.”
He explained that loyalty demands full persuasion and is based on principles not emotions. He admonished participants to expunge the canker of familiarity that causes many not to honor the Prophet and also makes them sway in their faithfulness.
Day Two- Sunday, 22nd August. Many of the congregants arrived with a heightened sense and hunger to receive more anointed teachings at the Conference. Bishop Kweku spoke extensively on Rules of Loyalty from another of Prophet’s books in the Loyalty series, Those Who Are Ignorant.
He said that no matter what is said or done there will always be disloyal people and therefore, the message of Loyalty and Disloyalty must be preached perpetually.
He buttressed this from Luke 6:12-13, revealing that our Savior, Jesus Christ, after long hours of Prayers and choosing carefully the 12 apostles from a pool of disciples, still had one of them being unfaithful.
He went on to say that the continuous teaching on Loyalty is a potent immunizer against disloyalty and unfaithfulness. He added that, most importantly, all the teachings on loyalty must be remembered in the hour of temptation, when one is faced with challenges or feels offended.
Bishop Steve encouraged all present to rise up and be defenders of the church in their own small way, confidently and correctly!
We have been stabilised, established and indeed, thoroughly furnished for Good Works through this timely Conference.

Great! We cannot be neutral, there is no demilitarised zone in the kingdom of God. You are either the SAME or changing every now and then.
