Though we are many, we are one body in Christ!” Chris Tomlin was absolutely right. In Anagkazo  Assemblies under the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC)  established by Mega Church Pastor, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, a day to celebrate cultures is a day to look  forward to! It is a day to know and understand the cultures of the people we interact with. It is a day to  exemplify “unity in diversity”. It is the “International Sunday” and what a day it was!

In Anagkazo Assemblies, we believe and agree that our many cultures, no matter how different, when embraced, enforce peaceful coexistence.

INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY IN PUNE, INDIA

Members in Pune who couldn’t enjoy the day in person all united via Zoom technology. Now you know  that International Sunday is not an event worth missing! 

Anagkazo Assemblies in Ivory Coast was well represented! Waakye (rice and beans), a traditional meal from Ghana was not abandoned. 

Jollof, the most popular meal in West Africa, known especially for the controversial battle of origin between Ghana and Nigeria was not left out!

I know you already cannot wait for the next International Sunday event. Perhaps you should start learning  that Asian meal or sewing that beautiful fugu from parts of northern Ghana and Burkina Faso.
