Oh how important it is for a believer to know God and the power of His might which fully guarantees us participation in the victory won for us through Christ Jesus in our everyday Christian walk. The apostle Paul expresses this explicitly in Philippians 3:10 “I want to know Christ-yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from dead”.
The Proton Convention held at the Mandela Council of the Qodesh Family Church (QFC) Denomination experienced what could only be expressed as an encounter divinely inspired by the Spirit of God through His anointed vessel, the Convener of the Executive Council of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC), Bishop Emmanuel Louis Nterful, carries a rare anointing and has for over three decades walked faithfully with God, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ with miracles, signs and wonders.
The 3-day Convention hosted on the average, three hundred people made up of believers and new souls alike. The power of God was mightily present to heal numerous forms of diseases, to direct, to rebuke, to restore and revive a desire to know God in the hearts of the people. By day three, one could evidently tell the shift in the understanding of who God is and the importance of personally having a relationship with Him.
For three amazing days, Bishop Emmanuel Louis Nterful taught on developing a relationship with, and understanding the in depth divine nature of God. He began by explaining why one must know God. A few of the many revelations were that our lives as Christians will be blessed if we know God. Our blessings are directly linked with our knowledge of God, and the struggles of many Christians fall on the fact that they have little or no knowledge of who the God they claim to be serving is.
Day 2 was even more striking as the Bishop preached on “The Power of Knowing God” Incredible! How much could we do if we really gave much attention to knowing the creator above His creation? Oh, what peace we would enjoy. Truly, power is released into everything we do when we know, understand, believe and appreciate who God is. Reiterating what the Bishop revealed as powers that operate in the life of a Christian when he or she knows God “You have peace when you know God (Job 22:21, Mark 4:37, Psalm 119:165). You experience good when you know God (Job 22:21). God reveals His ways to you when you know him (Psalm 103:7, 25:12). He gives you the power to do exploits (Daniel 11:32, Acts 2:32), and you will be a man of faith when you know God”
Great and mighty miracles accompanied the powerful word of God preached. Many gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Healings of spondylosis, myopia, presbyopia, deafness et cetera occurred and hearts turned to God.
What a time it was at the QFC Mandela Council; an intimate moment with God that can hardly be forgotten. The beautiful people of the Mandela Council express gratitude to the Almighty for such a time in His presence, and a big “thank-you” to Bishop Nterful for availing himself for this cause.
