Celebrating our Father Bishop Dag Heward-Mills on his birthday at Loyalty House International has always been remarkable. This year’s however, saw a double dose of the usual as we marked his 60th birthday with a splendid colorful Sunday service to honor our Prophet, our Teacher, our Shepherd, our Father and our Anointed: Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
This memorable day, Sunday 14th May 2023 was marked with an evangelistic campaign which saw a number of souls won trooping into the Church.
The entire congregation was clad with very bright and colorful t-shirts, amidst the ecstasy generated from the vibrant praise and worship and the skillful and unified dance moves. The magnificent and flamboyant decoration of the Prophet’s birthday cake sitting on the stage in the midst of his photos could not escape one’s gaze.
The stage was lit! It was a beautiful place to be on such a day.
Our Pastor, Bishop Ishmael Sam led us powerfully in prayer as we interceded for our Prophet and his family. The happy birthday choruses and testimonies of the prophet’s impact in our lives were some of the highlights of the service.
Loyalty House International went all out to honor the Prophet God has given us. All across our LHI branches there was joyous celebration and the month of May has been declared as month of evangelism.
In the midst of the celebration of God’s goodness in the life of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, 14th May saw the largest number of souls being won for Christ all across our branches. Small wonder as soul winning is his heart and the essence of his ministry.

The latter part of the service also witnessed the appointment and ordination ceremonies, where a total of twenty-four (24) new Pastors were appointed and four (4) new Reverend ministers ordained into the ministry all across the LHI Cathedrals.
It is our prayer that God will continue to preserve the Prophet’s life and grant him many more victories as he conquers more territories for Christ.
“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
