On May 14, 2025, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills marked his 62nd birthday. Born in London on May 14, 1963, Bishop Heward-Mills has dedicated over four decades to evangelism, church planting, and Christian leadership across continents. This year’s birthday coincided with an ongoing international crusade in São Tomé, where he is currently preaching the gospel and ministering to thousands.
Despite being away from home, Bishop Dag received birthday wishes from across the globe, from tens of thousands of his spiritual children and fellow ministers, who expressed their appreciation for his tireless service and unwavering faith, love and loyalty. Many social media platforms were flooded with messages of gratitude, prayer, and reflection on his impact as a father, founder, pastor, teacher, apostle, evangelist, author, and mentor.
This birthday has been unique in its celebration. The celebration began when he visited the Eschatos church at Ayeduase, Kumasi on May 8, 2025, as part of his journey to receive an award from the king of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Although unintended, the Millennium Excellence Awards was a memorable part of the celebration of this birthday. Throughout his ministry, Bishop Dag has been recognised for his contributions to Christian leadership and evangelism. In 2023, he was listed among the 100 most reputable Africans by Reputation Poll International.
In a FLOW prayer meeting the day before the birthday, thousands of church members around the world joined together in unified prayer for our father and prophet, lifting him up in prayer.
As he celebrates another year, Bishop Heward-Mills continues to bless us with his teachings, books and songs, reaching audiences across continents.
We continue to celebrate our pastor with a World baptism day and massive evangelism in all nations around the world on 17th May.
