At every Tsalach night (Crossover) Service, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills announces a prophetic theme that shapes the ministry for the year ahead. For 2025, that declaration was “A Year of Greater and Better”. Now, months later, we can clearly see how this prophetic theme has become reality. One of the ways this has been manifested is through the impressive increase in camp meetings across the different denominations and continents.
Camp meetings have always been a significant part of Bishop Dag’s ministry. They are moments when members step away from their daily routines to spend countless hours in the presence of God through teaching, prayer, and Christian fellowship. As the Apostle Paul advises in 2 Timothy 4:2 (NLT):
“Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favourable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.”
This scripture is exactly what prophet has been doing through these camp meetings. From continent to continent, camps have trained shepherds, strengthened believers, and set hearts on fire for the Lord.

In August, a Church Planters Camp was held at the scenic Anagkazo Campus, equipping young members to step out into the harvest fields. Later that month, another camp titled ‘Lord I Know You Need Somebody’ was also held at the Anagkazo Campus in Mampong, Ghana. There, prophet stirred up the attendees’ desire to work for God.

What has been most wonderful is that these camps have not only brought spiritual refreshment, but they produced fruit. New churches have started in Accra following the Church Planters camp. Last month, we witnessed the birth of two new denominations in Europe: Living Waters Church in Switzerland and GO Church in Belgium. These new denominations are living proof that when disciples are trained, and sent, the church expands.

As the year draws to an end, we are reflecting on the goodness of God, and we are filled with awe and gratitude. God has truly poured out grace on our church family. We are thankful to be planted in a church that teaches, equips, and sends us to do the will of God.
And yet, the year is not over. We look forward to the camps still to come and to the churches that will be birthed through them. The God who began this great work in us will complete it, greater and better than we ever imagined.
