This season of Withdrawal has been characterised by prayer and fasting across all the churches, and it has continued into February with our Prayer Camps! across the European continent and in Ghana.

This has been a time of teaching and long periods of prayer, during which the face of the Lord has been sought, strongholds broken, visions realigned, and countless revelations given. Conveners tirelessly led the churches in a ground-breaking, impactful hours of prayer! Tiredness was a distant thought as the eyes of our understanding were enlightened to see the power of prayer.

Across the denominations, congregations were drawn far and wide, all unified by the same request of the disciples in Luke 11:1 of “Lord, teach us to pray.” An earnest desire to sit at the feet of Jesus in prayer, to learn of His heart and will for our lives, was cultivated.

The Candle in the Dark Churches held a life-changing camp in Italy, drawing crowds from Italy, Luxembourg, Romania, Spain and Malta, with an emphasis on how multiplication could be achieved across the churches through fervent prayer. In Pleasant Surprise Church International, a heavy emphasis was placed on the need to serve God with compassion. God is reluctant to give the heathen of this world over to a generation of unloving and uncaring shepherds.

Across the globe at First Love Church in Ghana, the Season of Withdrawal was punctuated by 34 hours of prayer, seeking God’s face and will in our lives and ministries. A year of blessing and no curse has turned into a practical reality through the power of prayer!
