By the Grace of God and the leadership of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, churches are being built in different countries around the world. These churches are largely or completely financed by individuals whose hearts God has touched to support the vision He has given to Bishop Dag, to build and plant churches everywhere.
The financiers of these buildings have been directly inspired by the Presiding Bishop’s teachings to contribute to the work of God by actually financing the building of churches to house the planted churches and by so doing help fulfill the Great Commission. The inspiration to sacrifice, through the teachings of the Presiding Bishop has encouraged many to respond to this peculiar call.
So far there have been a lot of Community Churches dedicated in Ghana. The dedication of Cathedrals is now starting, and several will be rolled out after these ones in Kenya.
The Kenya dedications also mark the beginning of international dedications by the Archbishop of the United Denominations, Bishop Ampofo, on behalf of the Presiding Bishop, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and UD News is sure to follow and update the church family on it.
3 out of 10 cathedrals were dedicated on this dedications trip to Kenya.
They are:
LORD OF GLORY CATHEDRAL, in Ruiru East, Kenya. Pastored by Bishop Fiifi Biney.
KING OF GLORY CATHEDRAL in Tala, Kenya. Pastored by Bishop Christos Abbey.
DAYSPRING CATHEDRAL, in Limuru, Kenya. Pastored by Bishop Joseph Amable.
These churches received significant contributions from individuals as well as funds generated by their denominations.
The Dedication Services were well attended by the local congregations as well as invited Ministers from other denominations and was characterized by joyful participation.
The Archbishop Ampofo is grateful to the Presiding Bishop for this opportunity to represent him on this Dedications assignment to Kenya.
