The Church Growth Conference (CGC), who’s Convener and main speaker is Bishop Emmanuel L. Nterful, has been running since 2009. The principal aim of the conference is to teach, encourage and provide pastors, especially those with small ministries and churches, with wisdom keys and the anointing for supernatural church growth.
Relying heavily on the church growth books written by his father, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills (Church Planting, The Mega Church, Church Growth… it is possible, Double Mega Missionary Church etc.) and his own books (The Cell System, The Holy Spirit), Bishop Nterful, himself a Megachurch pastor, espouses the great wisdom and strategic keys in these heavily anointed books .
Over the years, many pastors who have participated in the CGC have seen amazing growth in their churches.
This year the Lord made it possible for another edition of CGC to come on. From Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th September, at the LIFE CATHEDRAL , the beautiful and huge headquarters of the Anagkazo Assemblies Denomination of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC), located at Kasoa-Ofaakor, a buzzing city near Ghana’s capital city, Accra. Hundreds of pastors attended the morning and afternoon sessions of the Church Growth Conference.
Considering the great challenges that churches are facing currently as a result of the effects of the Covid pandemic, the Holy Spirit inspired Bishop Nterful to theme the 2022 conference “GATHERING, RETAINING, CARING AND MULTIPLYING“. He taught and preached powerfully on these areas under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The conference was also blessed to have Rev. Dr. Anthony Cudjoe, a mega church pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC Calvary Temple, Spintex Road, Accra) ministered powerfully.
Without a doubt, based on the testimonies of the participating pastors, the Holy Spirit has greatly encouraged, inspired, instructed, strengthened and anointed them to go and build mega churches for the glory of the Lord.
Apart from the direct teachings, the ministers were exposed to, and had the opportunity to acquire the world acclaimed ministry materials of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, especially the newly-launched MAKARIOS 51-100, a library of anointed ministry books. Also available were the Holy Spirit, the Cell System books and other widely used ministry materials of Bishop Nterful.
In total over four thousand six hundred bishops, apostles, evangelists, church founders, prophets, pastors, church leaders and church workers, from 247 different churches attended the 4-day conference.
Those who were unable to attend the conference physically were not left out. Through the agency of social media, especially live streaming on Facebook, a total of 11,376 watched and benefited from the just ended Church Growth Conference.
We pray that the Lord will bless all the churches that attended with explosive growth in their churches and ministries.
