The burst of color and showcase of rich and diverse cultures from around the world was definitely thrilling!
People from every nation, tribe and tongue. Different cultures, different ages, different races, yet all one people… Celebrating unity in diversity!
It was all hype and pomp at the Greater Love Cathedral on Sunday, March 19th 2023 as we marked International and Missions Sunday – a day set aside to celebrate our Internationality as a church and raise support for missions.
The Convener of the Greater Love Church Bishop Ernest Aryee preached powerfully from Rev 5:1-9, highlighting the fact that people from every tribe, language and nation are redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus. He further stressed that people can only be reached with the Gospel by our sacrifice. Our sacrifice makes us worthy.
Financial support was also raised to help the work of missions in distant lands.
What a blessing to be part of a ministry that lives out the heartbeat of God – missions, evangelism, souls, outreach and the work of God, not just in our immediate communities but the world at large!
International and Missions Sunday at the Greater Love cathedral was truly fulfilling!
