The United Denominations’ (UD) Pharmacist Community is one of the Professional Groups in the Lay Professionals Board, under the umbrella of the Lay World
Movement (LWM), the Lay Ministry wing of the United Denominations. It is headed by our Convener, Reverend Dr. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay. We were privileged to host the whole of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC), headed by our Founder, Prophet Dag Heward-Mills, whose obedience and leadership made the webinar possible.
The aim of the webinar was to remind and educate ourselves about the role of Supplements (vitamins and minerals) in boosting our Immune Systems to prevent COVID infections, and in the event of an infection, to mitigate the terrible effects
of the disease.
The exposition opened with a prayer, after which Reverend Orleans-Lindsay, set the tone for the day by enlightening and teaching us from the Word of God. God’s plan for us is to prevent us from having diseases by blessing our food and water, and giving us fruits and leaves as supplements. “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” Exodus 23:25; “……. and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2.
We had a team of eight Panelists. Three gave presentations on Vitamins A, C, D and E, and also on Minerals like Zinc, Magnesium and Selenium that help in building a strong Immune System. The rest of the Panelists were part of the Question and Answer session which was very interesting and engaging with the audience.
The presentation educated us about our bodies’ natural and acquired immunity and how antigens like COVID-19 trigger an inflammatory reaction in the body, leading to life threatening symptoms that could lead to serious sickness and even death.
Conclusions were drawn by the host about the importance of eating a Balanced
Diet of 25% Protein, 25% Carbohydrates and 50% Fruits, Vegetables and Fibre. Of all the Vitamins, it was stressed that Vitamins C and D play a pivotal role in boosting the body’s Immune System.
Some of the interesting questions we had were as follows:
-Can we consider tomato stew with onions, carrots, and green peppers as a vitamin
meal?
-Are Vitamins medicine?
-How can vegans get all their nutrients and micronutrients?
-Does eating a lot of tomato rich food contribute to arthritis?
-Is coconut water good for you?
It was our maiden webinar presentation and we had an attendance of about 372 on Zoom, Facebook and YouTube combined.

On his latest tour round the Volta and Oti Regions of Ghana to dedicate Community Church Buildings, the Archbishop of the UD-OLGC, Kwasi Ampofo visited the Healing Jesus Mission International, Hohoe – Lord of Glory Cathedral. It was an honor to receive a great General in the land.
On the night of this great Apostolic visitation, he preached on the Holy Spirit. He shared 3 things a believer must know about the Holy Spirit: The first is to know Him as a person, and relate with Him accordingly. Secondly, there is a need to walk with Him and finally, the need to understand Him.
He prayed for the church and counseled the congregation to have a deeper Christian life by flowing with the Holy Spirit.
It was a blissful service and the Hohoe church will never be the same again.
Ho Apache was not left out of the great Apostolic visit when Archbishop Kwasi Ampofo made a brief but memorable stop at the Ho Apache.
He preached on How to Honor God by paying attention to His Word. He reiterated that not listening to God is a sign of dishonor to Him, and disobeying God, dishonors Him greatly. It was a pleasant and refreshing time.
“Archbishop, we are grateful for the visit. Memories remain in our Hearts.”
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language standing before throne and the Lamb”. Revelation 7:9

Though we are many, we are one body in Christ!” Chris Tomlin was absolutely right. In Anagkazo Assemblies under the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC) established by Mega Church Pastor, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, a day to celebrate cultures is a day to look forward to! It is a day to know and understand the cultures of the people we interact with. It is a day to exemplify “unity in diversity”. It is the “International Sunday” and what a day it was!

Churches in the Anagkazo Assemblies (AA) Denomination in Accra and its environs gathered for their Annual Shepherds Camp Meeting at the Great Hall of the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training Centre (ABMTC) Mampong campus.
The Camp gathered hundreds of participants including Bishops, Lay and Full-time Pastors, Bacenta and Basonta leaders, Assistant Shepherds, Trainee Shepherds, as well as serious Christians.
Under the theme MIGHTY FOUNDATIONS, the camp was held to expose Pastors and Shepherds to this great Machaneh message, preached by the Founder and Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, in Switzerland, May 2009.
The camp aimed at achieving two important things: Firstly to remind the older generation of Bishops, Pastors and Shepherds of the great and mighty foundations upon which AA (and its sister Denominations) had been built. There is urgent need to safeguard and preserve these Foundations, without which the AA Denomination would be destroyed. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalm 11:3
Secondly, the camp had the aim of reminding the new generation of Pastors, Shepherds, Trainee Shepherds and members at large, of the Mighty Foundations that have created the Church they are enjoying today. There is the need for them to get acquainted with these foundations, appreciate them and use them as their yardstick to further build and advance the Kingdom of God.
Participants had the opportunity to watch videos of the original camp preached by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills:
1. The Foundation of Tithing.
2. The Foundation of Sacrifice.
3. The Foundation of Nearness to God.
Bishop Emmanuel L. Nterful, Convener of the AA Denomination on his part taught on three of the Mighty Foundations:
1. The Foundation of Loyalty.
2. The Foundation of Lay People and the Ministry.
3. The Foundation of a Bible, Prayer, a Book and a Tape.
At the end of the Camp participants were refreshed and eager to go back to do more for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. It was also an opportunity for members to get to know and fellowship with members from other AA churches.
Not one, not ten(10), neither was it a hundred (100) but in the year 2019, over one hundred thousand(100,000) souls met Jesus in Gulu, in the North of Uganda and their lives have never been the same again!
Thousands of miles from his city, Accra, Ghana but to the world renowned healing evangelist Bishop Dag Heward- Mills.. a soul no matter where is a soul and is very important to God!
Be Blessed as you read and watch this life transforming crusade in the city of Gulu.

THE WAY CATHEDRAL – LIGHTHOUSE CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL (LCI) DENOMINATION
International Sunday is a major milestone on the calendar of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC).
The Mega Church Hall of The Way Cathedral was full to capacity as church members from different regions and areas dressed to represent and bring greetings from different cultures, nations and countries.
Dressed in a resplendent Thai attire, Bishop Steve Asare, the Convener of LCI-GH delivered a seasonable sermon on why Believers Must Rise Up and Fulfill the Great Commission. He stressed that the Church is able to celebrate its International nature because others have gone to various countries, worked and started churches. He shared many practical examples of people who travelled out to other lands and fulfilled the mantra, “Go somewhere! Preach somewhere!”
He explained that the Church is truly International and not just cliché, because whenever one travels out of Ghana to any part of the world, one is more than likely to find a UD Church or can easily be referred to a Pastor in that country. Obeying the Great Commission by going out to preach the Gospel and win souls has always been the heart of the Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the Founder of the church, who after so many years has not relented in pressing on to win more souls, going into more countries and establishing more churches.
Thank you Prophet Dag Heward-Mills for the Burden of Love to see souls won, to send missionaries out and to build more churches across the nations of the world. 190 Nations, here we come!
KING OF KINGS CATHEDRAL, ACHIMOTA – LCI
The King of Kings Cathedral celebrated International Sunday with music, dance and drama. The service was characterized by greetings and presentations of fifteen different cultures of the world. One of the highlights was the appearance of the famous Bangladesh Electric tricycle in the church auditorium, which triggered a spontaneous resounding applause.
The pictures captured during the service, palpably showcase how exciting our International Sunday Service was.
KOTOBABI CHURCH – LCI
The Kotobabi Church was filled with a rich atmosphere of joy and excitement at this year’s International Sunday Celebration, which covered each continent of the world. Church Members dressed according to the dynamic cultures found in the continent their branches/centres were representing.
It was humbling and exciting to learn from each group the impact the United Denominations has had on the continents of the world. Each group made a vibrant cultural and linguistic presentation. Shouts of praise to God could be heard as the numbers of Pastors, Churches, Buildings and Denominations in each continent or region were announced.
This year’s celebration would leave a lasting impression on everyone. The efforts of Pastors and Missionaries worldwide, as well as the scale of the work of church planting and soul winning, which remains to be done was clear for all to see.

The Machaneh Church International Denomination held its 2021 edition of the Art of Shepherding Conference (AOSC) with many Pastors, Shepherds and zealous church members in attendance.
This year’s Conference was held from the 22nd – 24th of September at the Machaneh Cathedral in Oyibi and attended by hundreds of non-United Denominations (UD) Pastors in addition to numerous Shepherds and Pastors from the Machaneh Church International. There were participating Pastors from the Bono East, Ashanti, Volta and Eastern Regions among others.
For three days, the Convener of the Machaneh Church International, Bishop Edwin Morgan Ogoe, taught extensively on the rudiments of who a Shepherd is and why Shepherding is such an important element of the church. Bishop Ogoe taught from Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ book titled What it Means to Become a Shepherd, dwelling largely on the topic of ‘Why you can become a Shepherd’.
There were marvelous testimonies, especially from many non-UD pastors on how much their lives and Ministries had been impacted by what they had learnt from the Conference in the past and the clear changes that they see ahead as a result of this year’s Conference.
The Art of Shepherding Conference (AOSC), first held in 2017 by Bishop Edwin Morgan Ogoe, is geared towards equipping both UD and non-UD Shepherds and Pastors with the necessary skills to become successful shepherds. The Conference is based on the Shepherding teachings of the Founder of the UD Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
Emmanuel Bokarie was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone in the year 1993. Two years before his birth, the Sierra Leonean civil war had began and eleven years down the line the once beautiful, diamond rich Sierra Leone was left desolate, bleak and in shambles.

Just like Moses, his parents, determined to preserve the life of their precious baby at all cost, sought refuge first in a camp in The Gambia until a great door opened for them to move to the United Kingdom.
Emmanuel started off as the apple of his teachers’ eyes, their prized student, the one destined to make their school a shining star, until evil company set in. Evil company the Bible says corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33) and slowly but surely the one time ray of hope became a scallywag.
In grade six, he was branded by one of his tutors as the ‘worst pupil’ the school had ever encountered. Disobedience, rebellion, fighting, smoking weed, drinking, robbing shops among many other vices became his lifestyle.
Emmanuel and his best friends partying and wasting their lives away a few years ago
Emmanuel’s encounters with the police became so rampant that one time while under arrest, another police officer found him at the police station to arrest him on a different charge. Due to his notoriety he had to be electronically tagged so his movements could be monitored by the police.

At the age of 15, things totally went south for Emmanuel as he started to get involved with girls. All these experiences turned Emmanuel’s heart away from the Truth. But one day, Emmanuel had what he thought was an ordinary encounter with a friend. Little did he know that this was going to start a series of supernatural occurrences in his life.
This friend said to Emmanuel; ‘come with me, let’s go to church’. He turned down this request so many times till one day he gave in and visited the church, The Mustard Seed Chapel International (MSCI) headed by Rev. Steve, one of the many branches under the United Denominations founded by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. He instantly fell in love with the church, and the sermon, how it made his heart burn.
Mustard Seed Chapel International, where God gives many like Emmanuel a second chance
But that serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world kept him entangled. He could not let go of his friends and his previous life. Consequently, he got into trouble with the police once more and this time he was accused of sexual assault. He would have faced a likely six year term in prison if found guilty.
It was during these trying times that Emmanuel encountered the prayers and podcast messages of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. Faith came as he exposed himself to the preaching messages over and over again. He received supernatural strength and hope in that dark dungeon of despair and uncertainty.
Mr. Bokarie narrating to Bishop Dag Heward-Mills how the podcast messages brought him out of great despair and hopelessness
The continuous prayer and fasting of his pastors for his very life delivered him from the grips of the police. Alas, he was vindicated of all charges and discharged from police custody. That day, he decided… no more! No more fooling around, no more wasted years! I give my life to Jesus. Where He sends, I will go. What He says, I will do!
Mr. and Mrs. Bokarie, only God can do this!
Today, the one time chain smoker and bandit who almost spent the better part of his life behind bars, is a Minister of the Gospel about to land the shores of Columbia. His mission; to rescue many who like the old him, have gone astray, to snatch them from the fires of Hell, to give them a future and a hope, to give them JESUS!!
Ps Emmanuel Bokarie, ready to take the gospel to the ends of the world!
What a chance!
What an honour!
What a privilege!
What great mercy God has shown him!

Pastor John-Dag Addy, son of the Resident Bishop of the Makarios Church, East-Legon Hills, has joined the ranks of lawfully wedded men.
The blissful Saturday afternoon nuptial rite was preceded by an equally beautiful traditional marriage ceremony a few days prior.
Pastor John-Dag and his sweetheart Naa Dzormo, tied the knot on Saturday August 7th, 2021 at a very beautiful and colorful ceremony held at the “I Want My Love to Last Terrace” of the prestigious Anagkazo Campus in Mampong.
The beautiful wedding ceremony was officiated by our very own Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, with many distinguished guests gracing the occasion, including the United Organization and United Denomination Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches Bishops, as well as renowned Men of God, friends of Bishop Eddy Addy.
