It was an exciting atmosphere as members of the church in Ashalaja on Sunday, 8th August 2021, marched from the classroom which hitherto had been their meeting place, and triumphantly entered their new Church Building!! There was rapturous applause when the Archbishop, Kwasi Ampofo walked into the Church Building fully packed with people anticipating the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Ashalaja Church Building, one of the many churches of the Anagkazo Assemblies Denomination in the Ga rural area.
The occasion was graced by Rev. Philip Nartey, Lady Reverend Pearl Antwi-Boasiako and Reverend Herdibert Storph all of the Anagkazo Assemblies, Ofaakor representing the Convener of the Anagkazo Assemblies, Bishop Emmanuel Louis Nterful. After a song ministration by the choir, the Archbishop delivered a powerful message titled: “Why God has built us a Church.”
Congregants were ushered outside and prayers were released on the grounds of the church. The Archbishop cut the ribbon to dedicate the building, assisted by Lady Reverend Pearl Antwi-Boasiako. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 2 Chronicles 7:16
The project was financed by Bishop and Mrs. Emmanuel Louis Nterful. They deserve a miracle, for they have built us a Synagogue!!
It was such a great and a memoriable day to see the kingdom of God advancing in victory.
