Larry Odonkor became an elder in 1999 on KNUST Campus at the Main Queens Hall Campus Church.
Whilst still a Campus Elder, he was sent to the Ayeduase Town Branch, Kumasi, in the year 2000 after which he was sent to start the Bomso Campus Branch in the same year.
After completing KNUST, he was appointed a Pastor in 2001 and was also sent to pastor the Ahinsan Branch in Kumasi.
The Presiding Bishop sent him on his first mission to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2001 where he Pastored the mission until he was transferred to Bangui, Central African Republic in 2002.
After the Bangui Mission, he came back to Ghana and was sent on a mission to Suhum in 2003.
He was then sent to South Africa in 2004 where he served in the Pretoria Branch briefly, then started the Port Elizabeth mission; after which he also assisted in the Cape town, Khayelitsha Branch.
He was transferred back to Ghana in 2004 and was sent to Wa in 2005 to start the mission there. He pastored there for five years. Whilst there, he was ordained a Reverend Minister by the Presiding Bishop in 2009.
In 2010, he was sent back to South Africa, this time to Pietermaritzburg, where he pastored the Church until 2017. In the same year of 2017, he was consecrated as a Bishop in the United Denominations by the Presiding Bishop.
Also in 2017, he was sent to Antananarivo, Madagascar to head our mission there. He pastored there for two years, before being sent to Ambohibao, another town in Madagascar in 2019.
In December 2019, he was transferred back to Ghana Akim Oda.
He resigned in 2020.
