Last week, at the vibrant King Jesus Ministry led by Apostle Guillermo Maldonado, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills brought a powerful word during a special session of The Supernatural School of the Spirit. The event drew a spirit-filled crowd eager to receive fresh revelation on walking in greater faith and spiritual authority.

In his message, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills shared profound insights on spiritual perseverance, emphasising the importance of doing “a little more” in our pursuit of God’s purpose. Preaching from 2 Kings 13:14, he reflected on the moment the prophet Elisha instructed King Joash to strike the ground with arrows. The king’s limited response led to limited victory, an illustration of how believers often stop short in their spiritual battles.
“Sometimes we give up too early, but God wants us to keep striking, keep pressing, and keep fighting until the breakthrough is complete.” – Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
Bishop Dag also addressed vital themes of loyalty, faithfulness, and ministerial endurance. He spoke about the real challenges faced by those in ministry—offence, pride, and the danger of forgetting the grace that has carried them thus far.
“Many begin with zeal but get distracted, discouraged, or disconnected from the very grace that launched them,”. “But those who stay faithful will witness supernatural breakthroughs.”
In a heartfelt portion of his sermon, Heward-Mills emphasised the importance of honouring spiritual fathers and remaining connected to one’s roots. He cautioned against the spirit of disloyalty, referring to “dangerous sons” who betray or disregard those who nurtured their spiritual growth. Instead, he encouraged believers to cultivate humility, gratitude, and steadfastness.
The message resonated deeply with those present, leaving many stirred to recommit to their spiritual journey with fresh urgency and reverence.
