The 14th of May 2025 , the 62nd birthday of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, dawned bright and sunny just like any other day in the city of Cairo, Egypt. Yet at Headquarters of the Assemblies of God for Egypt and the Middle East, history was made with the launching of the Arabic Makarios.
Sixty books by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills have been translated and printed in Arabic. Arabic is a language spoken by 491 million people, spread over 19 countries, and is the 5th most spoken language in the world. It is one of the oldest languages in the world.

A group of 7 Makarios ministers coming from 6 nations sent by Bishop Dag and led by Apostle Toss Mills-Odoi, were received by Bishop Naaser Katkut, President of Assemblies of God (AG) for Egypt and the Middle East. He was joined by 20 AG pastors from different parts of Egypt. Together the group of ministers entered into a session of prayer. As they laid their hands upon the books they prayed and prophesied that the books, like ‘a bag of seeds,’ would permeate this part of the world and bring forth abundant fruit. The significance of the awesome moment was not lost on the small gathering.

The prayer time was followed by the launching of the Makarios by Apostle Toss and Bishop Naaser.

To God be the glory!! Great things He has done.
