Saturday the 16th of December 2023 will go down in memory lane as a noteworthy one for the Nterful, Amorin, and unified families, as well as the United Denominations and First Love families. Angelo Amorin and Lois Dorothy Nterful, of First Love USA and Ghana got married on this day!

The day started with a beautiful traditional marriage ceremony (popularly referred to as Engagement in Ghana) at the home of the proud parents the bride, Bishop Emmanuel Louis Nterful and Mrs. Paula Daniela Nterful.

Supporting were Bishops of the United Denominations family and their wives such as Bishops: Eddy Addy, Richard Aryee, Ismael Sam, Joel Obuobisa, Steve Asare, Ato Dickson, Jude Oracca-Tetteh, Ernest Aryee, Eric Asare and Ben Lokko to mention a few, who had made long journeys to witness this great occasion.

Amid cheers, laughter, and good wishes, the delighted bride, dressed in a magnificent green traditional gown, was given in marriage to the soon-to-be young husband in his lovely green Kaftan.

After the traditional marriage ceremony, in a solemn atmosphere at home, the bride was also privileged to have the First Lady, Episcopal Sister Adelaide Heward-Mills pray for her and share words of wisdom for the new life ahead.

In the afternoon of this memorable day, right after the traditional wedding, we also witnessed the wedding ceremony of the elated couple at The Life Cathedral of the Anagkazo Assemblies in Kasoa, Ofaakor.

The officiating minister, Presiding Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, was assisted by Rev. Kwasi Deh, a Ceremonial Archbishop.

In attendance were United Denominations Bishops and Episcopal Sisters, First Love Bishops and Mothers, Reverend Ministers, Pastors, Shepherds, church members, as well as the family and friends of the Nterfuls and Amorins.

The timeless design of the bride’s wedding dress, the groom and his men’s classic suits, the colourful flower girls, bridesmaids in their “all things bright and beautiful dresses” and the enchanting decor made the wedding ceremony feel like a fairytale come to life.

The euphoric atmosphere of the ceremony and the blissful expressions on the bride and groom’s faces as they said their vows were infectious.

The Nterful and Amorin families are grateful to the Lord for bringing their families together through marriage. They are also grateful to the Presiding Bishop, First Lady, and the United Denominations Family for journeying far to The Life Cathedral in Kasoa Ofaakor to share this special time with them.

Glory to God be the glory, great things He has done!
