Churches in the Anagkazo Assemblies (AA) Denomination in Accra and its environs gathered for their Annual Shepherds Camp Meeting at the Great Hall of the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training Centre (ABMTC) Mampong campus.
The Camp gathered hundreds of participants including Bishops, Lay and Full-time Pastors, Bacenta and Basonta leaders, Assistant Shepherds, Trainee Shepherds, as well as serious Christians.
Under the theme MIGHTY FOUNDATIONS, the camp was held to expose Pastors and Shepherds to this great Machaneh message, preached by the Founder and Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, in Switzerland, May 2009.
The camp aimed at achieving two important things: Firstly to remind the older generation of Bishops, Pastors and Shepherds of the great and mighty foundations upon which AA (and its sister Denominations) had been built. There is urgent need to safeguard and preserve these Foundations, without which the AA Denomination would be destroyed. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalm 11:3
Secondly, the camp had the aim of reminding the new generation of Pastors, Shepherds, Trainee Shepherds and members at large, of the Mighty Foundations that have created the Church they are enjoying today. There is the need for them to get acquainted with these foundations, appreciate them and use them as their yardstick to further build and advance the Kingdom of God.
Participants had the opportunity to watch videos of the original camp preached by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills:
1. The Foundation of Tithing.
2. The Foundation of Sacrifice.
3. The Foundation of Nearness to God.
Bishop Emmanuel L. Nterful, Convener of the AA Denomination on his part taught on three of the Mighty Foundations:
1. The Foundation of Loyalty.
2. The Foundation of Lay People and the Ministry.
3. The Foundation of a Bible, Prayer, a Book and a Tape.
At the end of the Camp participants were refreshed and eager to go back to do more for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. It was also an opportunity for members to get to know and fellowship with members from other AA churches.

These are the foundations that has built and kept the church until today and we need hear foundations in place to keep building and maintain the church.
