The Machaneh Church International Denomination held its 2021 edition of the Art of Shepherding Conference (AOSC) with many Pastors, Shepherds and zealous church members in attendance.

This year’s Conference was held from the 22nd – 24th of September at the Machaneh Cathedral in Oyibi and attended by hundreds of non-United Denominations (UD) Pastors in addition to numerous Shepherds and Pastors from the Machaneh Church International. There were participating Pastors from the Bono East, Ashanti, Volta and Eastern Regions among others.

For three days, the Convener of the Machaneh Church International, Bishop Edwin Morgan Ogoe, taught extensively on the rudiments of who a Shepherd is and why Shepherding is such an important element of the church. Bishop Ogoe taught from Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ book titled What it Means to Become a Shepherd, dwelling largely on the topic of ‘Why you can become a Shepherd’.

There were marvelous testimonies, especially from many non-UD pastors on how much their lives and Ministries had been impacted by what they had learnt from the Conference in the past and the clear changes that they see ahead as a result of this year’s Conference.

The Art of Shepherding Conference (AOSC), first held in 2017 by Bishop Edwin Morgan Ogoe, is geared towards equipping both UD and non-UD Shepherds and Pastors with the necessary skills to become successful shepherds. The Conference is based on the Shepherding teachings of the Founder of the UD Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
