The visit, which was very timely and Prophetic has had a great impact, not only on the church but the entire City of Juba.
Catch The Anointing Centre, Juba, a fledgling church was torpedoed in every sense by the visit of a father – Bishop Kakra Baiden, Convener of The Catch the Anointing Centre Denomination.
On the 3rd of July Bishop Kakra Baiden touched down in South Sudan. He was met on arrival by the mission head, Rev Stephen Korankye and his team, through the newly built plush VIP lounge of the Juba International at 4pm. After his over seven and a half hours flight, he decided against going to his hotel, a ten (10) minute drive from the airport, and went straight to the newly acquired piece of land.
The land, situated in a locality called Korok 1st class, on the outskirts of Juba is about twenty-five minutes drive from the airport. Upon arrival, Bishop Kakra did a thorough check of the land. He had a site meeting with the engineer and other workers on the land and then said a powerful prayer over the land for the commencement of the church building.
Rev Edwin Moses then took off with the setting out of the foundation.
On Sunday 4th July the chronicles of the encounter that propelled CTAC Juba to its pristine glory unfolded. The atmosphere in the service charged, as the whole church, filled beyond its capacity, praised and danced in expectancy of the great move of God. Bishop Kakra preached on the Anointing. He emphasized every believer’s need of the anointing and pointed out what to do to have the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Among many others, he mentioned that preaching (soul winning) and serving God was key to attracting the anointing of God.
Typical of the moment of ministration was the testimony of a young girl, blind in one eye from birth. During the ministration, Bishop Kakra called for someone who has been healed in one eye to come to him. The young lady, awestricken, walked to the pulpit to testify of God’s power. Bishop Kakra laid hands on a few people and drew the curtain on the service.
On the eve of the same day, Bishop met the listeners of his radio program at Nyakuron Cultural Center in Juba. The gospel was preached with signs and wonders. The ministration was followed by manifestations of God with the magnificent testimony of a young man. In his own words he said “I have a skin disease that causes my body, specifically my face, to react when it comes into contact with water. For six years I haven’t been able to wash my face. You prayed for me and I felt something leave me. When I got home I washed my face with water and there was no reaction on my face and skin. I couldn’t believe it! I bless God for your life and ministry. Thank you for coming to Juba.”
Bishop Kakra visited the site again on Monday 5th July to inspect the ongoing project. Later that day he had a meeting with the shepherds of the church at the church premises where he interacted with them, answered their numerous questions, encouraged them and prayed for them and for the growth of the church.

He departed South Sudan on Tuesday 6th of July.
Before his visit, church service attendance was between 45 to 60. On the day of the service attendance increased to 100. Afterwards the attendance has never dropped below 70.
More so, a new wave of excitement coupled with enthusiasm has saturated our services and shepherds meetings.
The building project has also moved so fast and we are amazed at what God is doing.
Indeed the visit of Bishop oiled the cogs of the monotonous grind of the church’s activities. It was and has indeed been a Great Visitation.
