UD-OLGC is a Pentecostal Christian church founded in 1987 by Dag Heward-Mills and headquartered in Accra, Ghana. It is considered to be one of the leading charismatic churches in Ghana, and has over 6, 075 branches in many other countries in Africa, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Australia, the Middle East and the Americans.

The School of Hygiene! “Lighthouse Chapel” emerges as the name of a small fellowship of nursing students and medical students meeting in a classroom.

The Church with 40 members. Classrooms! Through the various outreaches, dawn broadcasts and personal witnessing, a fellowship is established in the Medical School classrooms and auditorium.

Growth in the Medical school canteen! Lighthouse Chapel International was growing in leaps and bounds and needed a new venue. The Church finds and purchases an old decrepit cinema hall in the Korle-Gonnor area.

Growth in Korle-Gonno! In the Korle-Gonno Cathedral, the. Church grows to over 800 members.
The church crosses a membership of over 5,000. Peak Attendance!
The first ever-international convention of the church marks a peak attendance of 1400. Branches of the church in Ghana and outside Ghana contribute to a worldwide membership of over 5,000.
The Church grows to over 70 branches
Growth through church planting! Through church planting, the membership of the church grows in leaps and bounds. Dag Heward-Mills is consecrated as a Bishop in London. Counting and recored keeping become even more important for the growing church
The church crosses a worldwide membership of over 60,000.
The church holds its first ever event at the Independence Square of Ghana with over 15,000 people attending. The Korle-Gonno Cathedral is dedicated by David Yonggi Cho. The total attendance in branches exceeds the attendance in the headquarters.
The church expands into 22 countries.
The first Homecoming Convention is held at the Korle-Gonno cathedral!
The church crosses a worldwide membership of 147,899.
Move to the Qodesh! After years of conflict and crises at Korle-Gonno, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills officially moves the church from the Korle-Gonno Cathedral to its new international headquarters, the Qodesh. He pastors the church at the Qodesh for a short while and gives himself fully to the Healing Jesus Campaign.
The church expands into 48 countries.
The Qodesh is dedicated! To the glory of the God, Dr. Prince Guneratnam of Malaysia dedicates the Qodesh on 13th April 2008

The First Love Church is born! Dag Heward-Mills’ journeys back from full-time crusades to the first love of his ministry – pastoring people. The First Love Church is born in the legon hall chapel of the university of Ghana on the 11th of December 2011.

The Mountain of the Lord Camp is born! Dag Heward-Mills becomes the pastor of the First Love Centre. The First Love Church is delivered from wandering around various university halls and moves into its very own First Love Centre.

The UD-OLGC marches on! The Church, with a growing council of Bishops, crosses a net work of over 3,000 churches, with 2,300 pastors and over 500 buildings and is present in 88 countries! On 14 May 2018, Dag Heward-Mills latched “Attempt great things for the Lord”.
Coronavirus pandemic and the prophetic emergence of the FLOW services.
The coronavirus strikes and physical church meetings shut down across the world. Despite the ravaging affects of the coronavirus pandemic, the church membership continued to grow as the UD takes advantage of the FLOW prayer meetings and Sunday services. The first online Give Thyself Wholly Conference is held with over 76,000 delegates registered across 150 countries.
