Lusaka became a major gathering point as thousands assembled over several nights for the Healing Jesus Crusade led by Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills to preach Christ, minister healing, and reach the nation with the message of salvation.

We saw individuals come forward to report healings, improvements in long-standing conditions, and other changes attributed to prayer during the services. As is consistent with the ministry of Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, the crusade was accompanied by a Pastors’ and Leaders’ Conference. This has long been a standard component of the Healing Jesus Campaign; wherever a crusade is held, church leaders are gathered and equipped. In Lusaka, pastors, bishops, and leaders from across Zambia attended sessions focused on ministry, leadership, and practical aspects of church work.

The teachings provided clarity and structure for ministers serving in different contexts. Participants noted the usefulness of the sessions for their ongoing responsibilities in their churches and communities. The conference aimed to strengthen leaders who continually support others, offering them tools and direction for the season ahead.

The combined impact of the crusade and the leaders’ conference has been widely acknowledged. Both events contributed to a significant spiritual moment for Zambia, and many expect the effects to continue in churches and communities across the nation.
During his time in Zambia, Evangelist Dag Heward‑Mills also paid a courtesy visit to President Hakainde Hichilema at State House. As part of the visit, he presented the President with a collection of his books, a gesture that reflected both respect and the long‑standing relationship between the Healing Jesus Campaign and national leadership across Africa. The engagement highlighted Zambia’s continued recognition of its Christian identity and the collaborative role the Church plays in promoting unity, prayer, and moral guidance in the nation.

Zambia has been blessed by this gathering.
