The Church in Newcastle was energised by a powerful and memorable visit from Bishop Dag Heward‑Mills, our Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. The service drew hundreds of members and leaders from across the region, all eager to receive impartation, direction, and encouragement for the next phase of ministry.

Preaching from Luke 10:1–23, Bishop Dag delivered a striking message on “How to Make Satan Fall Completely” He explained that Jesus’ statement, “I saw Satan fall like lightning,” was directly connected to the sending out of the seventy disciples. He explained that, mission is what weakens the enemy, and multiplication is what pushes darkness out of territories.
He highlighted Luke 10:3, reminding the church that believers are sent out “as lambs among wolves.” “Lambs don’t defeat wolves by fighting,” he said. “They win by multiplying. The church must multiply itself, more branches, more churches, more missionaries.”

Bishop Dag emphasised the vision for new churches to be planted, urging members to embrace the call to missions with joy and not complaints, just as the seventy returned rejoicing. He also encouraged individuals to register as Serious Potential Missionaries (SPMs) ahead of the upcoming 2026 Missions Camps, describing it as a defining moment for those sensing a call to ministry.
Drawing from Luke 10:21, he reminded the congregation that God works through “babes” — people who believe. He prophesied the rise of new full‑timers, missionaries, singers, bishops, and shepherds who will carry the gospel across nations with childlike faith.

During the service, Bishop Dag also acknowledged the ten Bishops overseeing denominations and regions across Europe, commending their dedication to strengthening churches, supporting pastors, and expanding the DHMM mission on the continent. Their leadership, he noted, is a living fulfilment of the mandate in Luke 10.
The Church in Europe now steps forward with a strengthened commitment to multiplication, missions, and advancing the gospel, confident that as the church rises, Satan falls.
