Many church members and followers around the world ended their year in prayer as Bishop Dag Heward-Mills led a 14-hour FLOW Prayer Meeting that drew an estimated 1.4 million participants across all the continents. The extended session, streamed live throughout the day, became one of the largest and longest flow prayer meetings hosted by the Flow Church to date.

From the early hours of the morning, viewers joined the broadcast from Africa, Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas. The global nature of the meeting and the church became especially visible when congregations in New Zealand, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Australia, China, Philippines, Taiwan, Bangladesh and Thailand crossed into 2026 while the prayer meeting was still in progress, celebrating their new year live on the stream whilst continuing in prayer.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills led the full 14 hours without pause, guiding the members through a series of prayer segments, short teachings, and moments of reflection. Many viewers noted the endurance required to sustain such a long session, describing it as a significant display of leadership, exploits and commitment at the close of the year.

During the meeting, some of the official prayer topics for 2026 were announced, outlining topics that will guide many christians in the year 2026 declared as “My Year of Blessings & No Curses”.

For many, the extended prayer meeting offered a reflective and meaningful way to transition into 2026.
The whole church family is waiting to see the first missionary to Kiribati Island. Will it be you? The Church Must Send or It Will End and Why Are You Not A Missionary.
Thank you Bishop Dag for your exemplary leadership, love and faithfulness.
