This past month, young members from UD churches in Greater Accra and later Ashanti regions, gathered for two powerful camp meetings with Bishop Dag at the Anagkazo Campus.
The first of the Church Planters Camp, held at the scenic Anagkazo Campus for three days, focused on equipping young members of all the denominations in Accra, to plant churches and fulfil the Great Commission. Preaching from his book Church Planting, attendees received practical instruction on the mindset of a church planter and keys to going all the way with God. The atmosphere was charged with long hours of prayer, vibrant worship and spiritual impartation, including the special anointing to teach. They left prepared to disciple others and lead effectively in ministry. Key lessons included:
- Developing the Right Mindset: Thinking like Jesus, cultivating wisdom, and committing fully to God’s work (Philippians 2:5; Ecclesiastes 10:3).
- Accomplishing Good Works: Planting churches, saving lives, and discipling others as works that have eternal impact (Ephesians 2:10; Revelation 14:13).
- Strategic Planning: Mapping churches, buildings and territories, with a focus on structured growth (one church, one building, one pastor, 60 members, one crown).
- Youthful Dedication: Encouraging young leaders to rise and serve with uncompromised passion, overcoming personal challenges and setbacks.

Meanwhile, the “Lord, I Know You Need Somebody” Camp at Anagakazo campus for the Ashanti denominations, was a time of personal blessing and impartation. Every member was prayed over to receive gifts designed for ministry: to win souls, visit the sick, and preach and teach the gospel.
“Lord, You can depend on me. Use me!”

Both camps demonstrated Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ dedication to equipping God’s people with the knowledge, gifts, and anointing needed to strengthen the Church and impact communities for Christ.
