Bishop Dag and the DHMM family celebrates the life and legacy of Bishop Kwasi Ampofo, affectionately known as Bishop Big Daddy, in a series of deeply moving and dignified services held at The Qodesh, Jesus Cathedral.

The celebrations began on Friday, 25th July, with a Bishop’s Honour Service at Adelaide Chapel. Beginning at 7 AM, this intimate gathering was reserved for bishops who had walked closely with Bishop Ampofo in ministry over the years.

Following that was the Funeral Service, held later that same morning at 9 AM at The Qodesh. The atmosphere was one of both mourning and gratitude. Hundreds of mourners, family members, church leaders, government officials, friends, and congregants gathered to remember a man who had lived his life fully in the service of God and others from when he was a student at KNUST. His funeral was not just a goodbye; it was a celebration of a race well run and a life poured out for the Gospel.

The weekend concluded with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 27th July, again at The Qodesh, Jesus Cathedral. It was a time of praise and joyful remembrance. Bishop Ampofo’s legacy was celebrated with song, scripture, and testimonies from those whose lives he touched both personally and spiritually.

Rest well, Bishop Big Daddy. You have served the Lord faithfully and earned your reward.
