It has been a deeply emotional week as hundreds gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Bishop Kwasi Ampofo, fondly known as Bishop Big Daddy, who passed into glory earlier in the month.

From Wednesday 11th to Wednesday 18th June 2025, family, friends, church members, and well-wishers came together at Fenix Tech, Adenta Municipality for memorial sittings filled with love, testimonies, and moments of reflection. The gatherings were a true testament of the impact Bishop Ampofo had on the lives of many across Ghana.
Among the notable guests in attendance was Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, leading a government delegation in honor of Bishop Ampofo’s exceptional contributions to dedication of community churches and spiritual leadership in Ghana.

The event also witnessed the presence of The Chancellor of Gold Coast University and Founder of Pleasant Place Church, Bishop (Dr.) Gideon Titi-Ofei, and his wife, Lady Rev. Olivia Titi-Ofei, both of whom offered touching tributes, praising Bishop Ampofo’s devotion, humility, and visionary work in the ministry.

Bishop Ampofo served faithfully, he was known for his tireless work across the country, especially in northern Ghana, where he frequently dedicated community chapels and cathedrals.
Those who spoke about him remembered a joyful, humble, and tireless servant of God—always on the move, always building, always loving.
We say goodbye for now, but we will never forget.
Rest in perfect peace, Bishop Big Daddy.
