More than 1,200 DHMM members from across the United States and Canada converged in Washington, D.C. for a powerful one-day HJC Partners service with Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills.
Attendees of all ages, young and old, from home and abroad, gathered with great anticipation to receive from the Evangelist. Excitement reached climax as he arrived, with vibrant singing, dancing, and heartfelt celebration from the congregation.

The service opened with a joyful birthday celebration for Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. Accompanied by bishops and lay presidents, he cut 5 different beautiful cakes from five denominations within the ministry. The moment served as a powerful segue into a poignant message about the brevity of life and the urgency of serving God.

Drawing from Psalm 90:10-12, the Evangelist reminded the congregation that every birthday is a reminder of life’s limited span and the importance of applying our hearts to wisdom. He reminded the church to live purposefully and make each day count for God.
He also preached a moving sermon from Luke 17:11-19, emphasising the need to return to God with gratitude. He explained the biblical distinction between being cleansed (“Katharizo”) and being made whole (“Sozo”), warning that ingratitude is one of the defining signs of the last days.
The response was overwhelming, with many stepping forward to partner with the Evangelist and support the ongoing mission of reaching the lost. The sense of unity and commitment to God’s work was tangible.

After two dynamic sessions, the meeting concluded with a special time of prayer. Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills offered heartfelt blessings to his North American congregation before departing, leaving behind a renewed sense of purpose and spiritual fire.
As attendees dispersed, many were looking forward to the next HJC Partners service and the upcoming five-denomination camps. The day marked a significant moment of revival and connection for the North American body of the ministry.
