A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

From the star-studded red carpet, to the rave reviews and the exhilaration from birthday celebration, the much anticipated premiere of the movie In Search Of A Blessed Life drew in an enlivened crowd.
Camera clicks, lights, chit-chatting, hugs and laughter, the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall, was bustling with people.

This was the first of its kind – a movie inspired by the book ‘He That Hath’ authored by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and premiered on his birthday, Tuesday May 14th, 2024.

Cheers filled the cinema as he walked in.
When the lights finally went off and the movie began to roll, the anticipation was
tangible.
Tinged with humor, drama and interesting twists, the movie chronicles the lives of 2 brothers who take different paths ‘in search of a blessed life’ after a masters degree program. Their choices greatly determine their outcomes. There are countless lessons to glean. A truly inspiring piece!

Akosua Busia, the world renowned actress, creator and brain behind the movie, In Search Of A Blessed Life, came up to speak when the movie ended. Along with the cast, she invited Bishop Dag to say a few words. He was visibly humbled and full of gratitude to the cast and crew for putting together this amazing production. He termed it ‘the beginning of a river of many more movies’.

The night ended with a short cake cutting ceremony. It was truly a birthday celebration with a difference. What a beautiful note to end our Founder’s Day celebration on!
