This year, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of our Father and Founder Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, on Sunday 14th May 2023, The Onction Internationale Denomination was privileged to welcome on board 5 new Reverends and 10 new Pastors (7 ladies and 3 gentlemen) to reinforce the pastoral team in Benin.
The ceremony was held in the beautiful Cathédrale de Grace in Cotonou. lt was officiated by Bishop Armstrong Simpson Nartey, Convener of the Onction Internationale denomination assisted by Bishop Richard Gyamena, Rev. Morrison Addo and Rev. Jeremy Menyisse. The Convener expressed the heart of our Father Bishop Dag Heward-Mills to do more for the Lord by welcoming more labourers into the field.
The ceremony was well attended by seasoned ministers in Benin, families, friends and well wishers who came to support the event in honor of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills for his great vision which has affected Benin.
Benin is currently blessed with 7 Cathedrals in Cotonou, Ouidah, Bohicon, Allada, Lokossa, Porto-Novo and Parakou.
In a sermon preached by Bishop Richard Gyamena titled “Preaching, Teaching and Healing” he encouraged the new Pastors and Reverends to focus on the work and follow the example of Jesus.
