What a joy it is for a child to see his or her father after a long season apart. It was all jubilation and excitement as we welcomed our Father, our Prophet, and our Evangelist at our church in Dubai. Our hearts were in earnest expectation to receive from our father!
Present in this auspicious occasion were Episcopal Sister Adelaide Heward-Mills, Bishop OB Commey, Bishop Daniel Arthur-Baidoo, the Convener of the Double Mega Missionary Church (DMMC) Denomination, other senior Bishops/Conveners of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches and our own beloved pastor, Rev. Fadhili Murutu.
The Prophet preached on The Mystery of the Mustard Seed. He expounded on Matthew 13:31-32 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”
Our faith was stirred up as we listened to the preaching of how such a small seed grows into a great shade-providing plant. Bishop reiterated on how “if only the mustard seed would grow”, it will become a mighty tree. We got to learn that truly humble beginnings and a tad of faith can flourish into full-fledged devotion. From the preaching we could see that although the Kingdom of God started small, with only Jesus and the disciples, it would later grow and spread across the world to unlimited number of followers. All it takes is just the mystery of the mustard seed to grow into a mega church from a fellowship of just two to three people. How amazing!
As the service came to an end we welcomed new souls into the Kingdom of God as Prophet led them in the salvation prayer. Truly the heavens were rejoicing. Speaking of rejoicing, how wonderful it is that our Daddy got to turn sixty year! It is indeed a great blessing.
We celebrated our Father by cutting a cake and there was joy in the air as we sang and danced and wished our Father a happy birthday. We can’t wait to celebrate him on many more birthdays to come, for indeed with a long and glorious life God will surely satisfy him!
It was such an amazing service as our hearts which were full of expectation were filled to the brim and overflowing. DMMC Dubai will never be the same as we embrace and implement the message of the Mustard Seed in our lives and our church. We cannot wait for many more of such visits from our Father. Indeed He has been a Christian for so many years, serving the Lord and working in the church and because of his obedience many souls are walking in the light of the Kingdom of God.
God bless our Daddy for such a visitation!

This is so beautiful
Seeing our father alone with such a beautiful church and family I sense a certain happiness as if I was present myself.
