To God be the Glory! Our Children are Getting Married!!!

On the 18th of December, 2021, the beautiful and luscious gardens of the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training Centre Golf Course, once again became alive with colour and chatter as family and friends gathered from near and far to celebrate the marriage between Michael Oddoye and Morenike Ademola; children of 2 of our very own UD Bishops – Bishop Hamish Oddoye, Convener of the Jesus Christ Has Come to Save the World Denomination and his wife Lady Pastor Annie, and Sister Simone-Pierre, Convener of La Belle Eglise Denomination, and her husband, Brother Adekoye Ademola.

Morenike, looking lovely in her flowing white gown was led down the aisle by her father, Brother Koye, regally clad in the Yoruba attire of his fathers; who joyously gave away his daughter to Michael.

Not only were the two (Michael and Nike) born into the original Lighthouse Chapel International, they have been friends since their days in the Y-Church over 10 years ago, and also travelled to the Ukraine to train as medical doctors. Their friendship continued even when Nike returned to complete her training in Accra. Little did they know at the time, that God had a plan to turn that friendship into something more permanent.

The couple solemnly exchanged their vows under the watchful eye of the Prophet, Father and Founder of the UD-OLGC, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, who over 30 years ago also officiated the weddings of both sets of parents. The ceremony was an emotional one.

Michael, showed off his dance moves as he led the bridal party in a time of jubilation! We pray that music, laughter and joy will forever be present in their home, and wish them longevity and prosperity in their marriage as they keep Christ at the centre of their union.

This beautiful wedding ceremony was preceded a few days prior, by an elegant and solemn engagement ceremony. Enjoy some pictures:
