The Funeral and Burial Service of the Late Reverend Frederick Boham was held on Saturday, 26th June, 2021, at the Wonderful Counsellor Cathedral, Sekondi. It was a clear and favorable weather for the service. Bishop Ebenezer Adom Barnor, Resident Bishop of the Cathedral, welcomed the presence of the Archbishop Kwasi Ampofo, Bishop Samuel Obeng (Tarkwa Council) and Bishop Samuel Baidoo (Takoradi Council) both of the Makarios Church Denomination in the Western Region of Ghana.

Reverend Frederick Boham was born on 19th December, 1970. He was a member of the Wonderful Counsellor Cathedral (Sekondi Aparche). In 2006 he was sent out to start the Ketan Branch. Boham was appointed a Pastor in 2016 and Ordained as a Reverend in 2019 in the Sekondi Council by Bishop Eddy Addy, Chairman of The Makarios Church Denomination. He assisted Bishop Samuel Obeng at the Cathedral until 2019 when he was transferred to Pastor the Essikado Centre. He was transferred back to the Wonderful Counsellor Cathedral to assist Bishop Ebenezer Adom Barnor.

Boham was a teacher by profession, and taught Mathematics at The Nest School Complex in Anaji – Takoradi. He was married to Charlotte and they were blessed with 4 Children.

The influence that Rev. Boham had on many lives in the region was evidenced by the crowd that graced the burial service, which saw an attendance of over 700 people. The whole atmosphere was electrified with the tribute read by the Nest School Complex; a very touching life story about Rev. Boham and his impact on the school and the community at large, which stirred the hearts of all who were present to tears in honour of Rev. Boham.

May his soul rest in peace.
