On Sunday, 8th June 2025, UD Churches had a Global Holy Ghost Baptism Service, after weeks of evangelism and soul-winning. This service marked the end of the Remembrance season and the beginning of the Machaneh season.
In Mark 16:17, Jesus said, “And, these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”
During the services, a special time was set aside to pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Across various churches, the response was overwhelming, as hundreds came forward in faith and expectation.
12,462 people were baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Among these people were some of the new converts from the recent evangelistic activities carried out at the beginning of this year, as well as old members who had never received the gift of speaking in tongues
The message of the day was clear: How to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Many members believed and received Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit.
There was great joy and excitement in all our churches as we witnessed many new and old members receive the Holy Ghost baptism, speaking in tongues and praising God. In some cases, people who gave their lives to Christ the same day also received the gift of speaking in tongues.
